A big congratulations to Lou Lou la Duchesse de Rière for winning Miss Exotic World at BHOF this year! She is one of the most talented burlesque performers I’ve ever known and I’m so excited that she took home this legendary crown this year. I met Lou Lou 15 years ago at one of her first burlesque shows when I was just starting out as a photographer. (See our first shoot together at the bottom of this post) What I love about working with Lou Lou is that she’s always open to exploring her dark side while still being playful. She’s always game to try a new concept and always fulls it off with such class. Lou Lou la Duchesse de Rière is an absolute star.

These last 2 images were from my first shoot with Lou Lou, back when I used to watermark my photos. Both our styles have evolved over the years but I still love this shoot that we did together.
