Creative blacklight
Whenever I can do a colour rich photoshoot, I get really excited. I’ve always wanted to play with black light because of the intensity of the neons that can be created. I wanted to make sure I could do the body paint in a sophisticated way because it can so easily go trashy. Don’t get me wrong, I love trashy but I knew that black light could be so much more if carefully used.
Luckily, my make-up artist Isabelle was also excited to model with my new uv lights. The trick to black light (otherwise known as uv light) is to have a completely dark room with only the black lights on. The skin is painted with neon or white make-up that glows in the dark under the light. I have so many ideas on what to do with my next uv light photoshoot, I’m just looking for the perfect client to do it with. If you’re curious about what I want to create, send me a message!
