Hotel Room Vamp

Depending on the photoshoot concept I will choose the perfect location. For this concept, I wanted something dark and vampy and that needed a more salacious hotel room. When I saw this space with the dark red curtains and matching carpet, I knew it would be perfect. The fabulous burlesque performer Mia Culpa really embodied the whole vamp feeling I wanted to create in these images. Ruby Valentine did another wonderful job on hair and make-up. When I first started doing photography I used to shoot a lot of fetish concepts so it felt right at home to add some of those elements to this photoshoot. Two of my favourite elements from this shoot was the sheer rose sequin dress and the rose rubber ball gag. Both pieces by themselves can look pretty trashy but when styled right, they can be show-stopping elements in a photograph. What do you think?
