Sophisticated Body Paint
There are a few photoshoot concepts that I cannot get enough of and gold body paint is one of them. The story behind this shoot was to create a golden goddess from a different time and I think we accomplished it! The model had the most amazing patience to stand there for the amount of time that it took to create this and I’m forever grateful for her.
A lot of people want to do a full body-paint photoshoot until they realize it means standing naked for hours at a time with a ticklish brush. But for those who have the patience for it, the results are absolutely incredible. Check out these behind the scene photos on how this golden look was created. A fabulous shout out to my fabulous make-up artist & body painter Briana Hurley who created and executed this amazing design.
I wanted to make sure that these photos had a lot of depth and texture in both the models expression and in the final images. Body paint can easily look trashy if it’s not done well and as much as I love a trashy moment, I wanted pure elegance with these. How do you think we did?
