I’ve worked and been friends with Christelle for over 13 years o when she called me early in the morning because Tatouage Magazine wanted to do a spread on her work , I said, “So when are we shooting?”

France came to me looking for a photoshoot where she could have a beautiful portrait of herself, be super creative and have great promo images for her burlesque shows. Inspired by her intense magenta hair, I knew we had to make the photos as colourful as possible.

Birthdays deserve to be celebrated and big birthdays should be immortalized! When Jennifer reached out to celebrate her 50th in front of the camera, I knew it was going to be a special kind of photoshoot. I had worked with her 10 years ago and I couldn’t wait to play catch-up.

There is just something so timeless and sexy about the Classic White Dress Shirt. Over sized or fitted, you can’t go wrong with such a simple look. Playing with edge of androgyny, everyone connects to this amazing style piece. Wear it with a corset and have a Victorian Influence, tie it at the waist and it’s ’50s inspired. I’ve always wanted to play with smoke bombs, they always looked so cool in photos but I have to admit I was scared at the same time. I didn’t know how I was going to control the smoke, how fast I had to take the photos, if any good images would ever come out or would it just be a messy disaster. It’s a good thing I like challenges and just because I might be nervous about something, doesn’t mean I’m not going to try it.

Glamour can be loud but it can also be quiet. I love this early morning photoshoot by the lake because it’s so delicate and strong at the same time. I’m a Libra and balance is key to every photoshoot that I do. I have a love of both country and city, and I think these photos absolutely express that.

I remember when I first saw this dress Carrie Bradshaw wore in “Sex in the City” Parisian finale and I fell in love. The ruffles, the extravagance, the drama, I wanted it all. For years I looked for versions of this dress in store but with no luck. Then one random day I found this beautiful grey ruffle fabric that was close as I’ve ever seen before and I bought as much as I could carry.

I’ve been a big fan of Cora Harrington, otherwise known as The Lingerie Addict, from the very beginning. So of course I was thrilled that we could finally meet and work together in Los Angeles. What I love so much about this woman is that she has created such an inclusive community for all people who love lingerie.

There are a few photoshoot concepts that I cannot get enough of and gold body paint is one of them. The story behind this shoot was to create a golden goddess from a different time and I think we accomplished it!
